
Women’s Basketball Set to Host Shockers on Sunday

DENTON, Texas – The UNT women's basketball team (12-3, 2-1 AAC) aims for its third consecutive American Athletic Conference victory Sunday when it hosts Wichita State (5-11, 1-3 AAC) at 2 p.m. CT inside The Super Pit.
The Mean Green are coming off their largest conference win since 2020 with an 86-52 dismantling of Florida Atlantic on Jan. 7. Dyani Robinson led the Mean Green with a season-high 22 points and added five assists and five rebounds. North Texas also posted the fourth-best single-game shooting percentage in program history with a mark of 60.3%.
Sunday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ with John Liddle and Brian Burton on the call. The game can also be heard on the Varsity Sports Network app with Zac Babb and Michelle Brooks.
