
UNT Athletics Expands "Beyond The Green" Series with FanWord

DENTON, TX – UNT Athletics is excited to announce the continuation and expansion of its acclaimed series, "Beyond The Green," a collection of compelling first-person stories told directly by its student-athletes.Â
In partnership with FanWord and its storytelling product, FanWord Stories, this series offers fans an unparalleled glimpse into the lives, challenges, and triumphs of UNT athletes, highlighting their journeys both on and off the field.
Launched to give the UNT community a closer connection to the student-athletes behind the jerseys, "Beyond The Green" has quickly become a staple of UNT Athletics' storytelling efforts. Each narrative is crafted to provide a raw and honest perspective from the athletes themselves, showcasing their personal experiences, hardships, victories, and the lessons they've learned along the way.
Starting this year, each story also highlights the various ways supporters can connect and engage with student-athletes. This will further assist UNT student-athletes build and promote their personal brands.Â
The two latest Beyond The Green installments feature football player Damon Ward and cross country athlete London Culbreath.Â
Supporters and fans can stay up-to-date on these stories by visiting the Beyond The Green platform. Each story also highlights the various ways supporters can connect and engage with student-athletes.Â
