DENTON, Texas – The UNT track and field program has released its schedule for the 2025 indoor season that will begin in January and run through the NCAA Indoor Championships in March.
"I'm very excited about our indoor schedule," head coach Doug Marshall said. "I think it's a very competitive schedule that allows us to compete at a high-level competition wise, while also allowing us to get healthy before we get to conference. I think our athletes will have a great opportunity to put some good marks out there and put themselves in position to do well at the conference meet."
The Mean Green will head to five regular season meets, opening with the McFerrin 12 Degree Invitational on Jan. 10 in College Station, Texas. This will be the first of four consecutive weeks of meets to begin the season as UNT will head to the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 17, then the Red Raider Invite on Jan. 24 and wrap up the stretch in Seattle at the UW Invitational Jan. 30-Feb.1.
North Texas will conclude the indoor regular season back in Lubbock, Texas, at the Jarvis Scott Invite Feb. 14-15.
Postseason action will begin Feb. 28 in Birmingham, Ala., at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships. The NCAA indoor season will come to an end March 14-15 at the NCAA Indoor Championships, which will be hosted at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.
