
Eight UNT Teams Achieve Perfect APR Scores

DENTON — Eight UNT athletic programs earned a perfect single-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) score of 1,000 for the 2022-23 school year and 11 of the 14 teams improved or maintained their single-year APR.
UNT women's tennis achieved a perfect single-year APR score of 1,000 for the ninth year in a row. Men's golf, women's golf and women's cross country achieved the perfect single-year score for a fourth year in a row.
Eleven teams earned APR scores of 980 or higher. This marked the 13th year in a row swim and dive has achieved at least an APR score of 980. Women's soccer has maintained or exceeded an APR score of 980 or better for now 12 years in a row.
Four programs earned a multi-year APR score of 1,000. Nine Mean Green programs improved or maintain their multi-year APR score, which is two more than last year. Additionally, men's track and field and women's cross country earned their highest multi-year APR score in North Texas history.
Women's golf and women's basketball each matched their highest multi-year rate of 991, which they both last set in the 2004-05 academic year.
