We are excited about the upcoming football season and can't wait for you to join us at DATCU Stadium on Sept. 7 for the home opener with Stephen F. Austin including a free postgame laser show on the field.

With the new season starting, there are several changes at DATCU Stadium that we want to make you aware of as we continually work to improve the fan experience in and around the facility.

- New chairbacks have been installed to sections 104, 105 and 106 at DATCU Stadium.
- The seats are the first ever seating upgrades at DATCU Stadium. They were installed by DreamSeat and feature 22-inch mesh chairbacks with a cup holder for each seat.
- Fans interested in purchasing or learning more information may do so online at www.meangreentickets.com or by calling the North Texas Athletics Ticket Office at (940) 565-2527 during normal business hours.
- Metal detectors now in use at DATCU Stadium
- Located at each gate/entry point. Gates 1-4 + VIP entrance, loading dock, and promenade. All staff and fans will have to go through a metal detector for access into the stadium. Only exceptions will be the two teams (coaches, players, support staff) and football officials. Metal detectors will have an event setting so fans can keep their phone and keys in their pockets (same at Coliseum) when going through the metal detector.
- This is consistent with what was implemented at the Super Pit last season.
- New UNT-branded beverages
- North Texas Blonde by Revolver Brewing Company based in Granbury, Texas, will be available at concession stands around DATCU Stadium. The beverage is the new official craft beer of UNT Athletics.
- UNT's first branded whiskey, Mean Green Reserve Bourbon from Hochatown Distilling Company in Hochatown, Okla., is also available inside DATCU Stadium at the Under the Wing Pub and in the HUB Club.
- Custom YETI cups
- A collectible only available to fans attending DATCU Stadium this fall, UNT Athletics is releasing four custom YETI tumblers that will be available at select concession locations.
- A limited number of cups will feature four unique designs only available in-venue on select game days.
- Designs will be announced on social media prior to Saturday's game, so stay tuned to all @MeanGreenSports social accounts.
- New Concessions Items
- Multiple new concession items have been added to DATCU Stadium this fall including BBQ nachos, mini donuts and wraps from Salata. Those items are in addition to traditional favorites like hot dogs, popcorn, sodas, candy and more.
- Game Themes for 2024
- Sept. 7 vs. SFA – Home Opener
- Sept. 21 vs. Wyoming – Family Weekend/DATCU Day
- Sept. 28 vs. Tulsa – Oktoberfest
- Oct. 26 vs. Tulane – Homecoming
- Nov. 9 vs. Army – Celebrate America
- Nov. 23 vs. East Carolina – Senior Day
- Bonnie Brae Street Construction
- As a part of the ongoing City of Denton expansion of Bonnie Brae Street, please make plans to arrive to DATCU Stadium early to avoid lines.
- Mean Green Live, food, drinks and entertainment will begin several hours before kick time, so fans are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the fun.
- Kick time reminder
- All kick times are set by the American Athletic Conference and its broadcast partner ESPN. Those times are announced 12 days prior to game day. For the latest information, visit MeanGreenSports.com and following UNT Athletics on social media @MeanGreenSports.

Tickets for the 2024 UNT football season and mini-plan packages are currently available for purchase now. General season ticket holder benefits include priority seating locations, flexible payment plan options, a season ticket holder gift, discounts on additional single-game tickets, kick time guarantee, postseason ticket priority and the ability to resell unused tickets on SeatGeek.

The Mean Green football team has six home games this year and hosts Wyoming (Sept. 21), Tulsa (Sept. 28), Tulane (Oct. 26), Army (Nov. 9) and East Carolina (Nov. 23) in addition to the SFA home opener.
