
UNT Announces Afternoon Class Cancellations for Friday, Oct. 10 Football Contest

Classes on campus on Friday, Oct. 10 scheduled after 12:00 PM will be canceled
DENTON – University of North Texas President Harrison Keller announced Wednesday that all classes scheduled after 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10 will be canceled. This adjustment allows students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to attend pregame festivities and the Mean Green's football game against USF at 6:30 p.m. inside DATCU Stadium.
The contest marks a historic moment for North Texas football, as the Mean Green enter the matchup with a 5-0 record for the first time since 1959. The game will also be featured on ESPN2, providing a national spotlight on the UNT community.
As with every home game, UNT students receive one complimentary ticket and may purchase up to four additional tickets at a discounted rate by visiting UNTTIX.com.
In addition, UNT faculty and staff members are eligible to receive two complimentary tickets with the option to purchase additional tickets. Faculty and staff members can submit their request for tickets here.
