Wong Named American Diving Athlete of the Week

IRVING - UNT senior Kamryn Wong placed third in the 3-meter springboard against some top programs at the SMU Invitational last week, earning a score of 323.95 to notch her second NCAA Zone Cut score this season (she previously got her Zone cut in the 1-meter springboard).
For her efforts, Wong was named the American Conference Diving Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
The nod is Wong's first of the season and fourth of her UNT tenure, dating back to last season.Â
Wong and the Mean Green will be back in action on Dec. 19, as they host New Mexico State at noon.
