Track & Field Announces Outdoor Schedule

DENTON, Texas — UNT Director of Track & Field, Doug Marshall, has announced the Mean Green's outdoor schedule, which will consist of seven regular season meets.
North Texas will host its annual Bill Schmidt Invite April 4-5 at the UNT Soccer and Track & Field Stadium.
The outdoor season will begin one week after the NCAA Indoor Championships at the TCU Alumni Invite on March 21. That will be the start of seven consecutive weeks of competition for the program.
The Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State University, on March 27-29 will round out the month before the Bill Schmidt Invite begins the April calendar. Following the home meet, North Texas will travel to a pair of in-state meets competing at the 44 Farms Team Invitational April 11-12 and the Michael Johnson Invitational April 18-19.
The regular season will conclude with the John McDonnell Invitational at Arkansas on April 25 and the Alumni Muster in College Station on May 3.
Postseason competition will begin at the AAC Outdoor Championships in Charlotte, N.C., May 16-18. The Mean Green will then head back to College Station for the NCAA West Preliminary Round May 28-31 with the chance to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., June 11-14.
