Track and Field Heads to Lubbock for Indoor Regular Season Finale

DENTON, Texas — UNT track and field will conclude its indoor regular season schedule at the Jarvis Scott Invite on Friday and Saturday in Lubbock, Texas.
The Mean Green will head to the Jarvis Scott Invite for the second straight year and send 50 athletes to compete against a solid field of teams that includes Baylor, Iowa, Texas Tech, Texas State and others. The meet will begin Friday afternoon and conclude Saturday evening with the 4x400-meter relays.

LAST TIME OUT
North Texas sent a small of contingent of athletes to the Charlie Thomas Invitational in College Station, Texas, last weekend. Jeremiah Durham was the highest finisher for the Mean Green, placing seventh in the 60 meters with a personal-best time of 6.85.
MEAN GREEN IN THE RANKINGS
- The UNT men's track and field team landed at No. 9 in the NCAA South Central Regional rankings this week
- Led by Washington, who holds the No. 7 time in the country at 6.55, the men's 60 meters position group is ranked No. 12 in the country by USTFCCCA.
