DENTON, Texas — The UNT track and field teams are set to compete at the 2025 AAC Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The Mean Green have had one of the most successful regular seasons to date, setting seven school records over the course of five regular season meets. Several North Texas athletes enter the meet in the top three of the conference leaders in their respective events, including Jaylen Washington, whose 6.55 in the 60 meters is the AAC's best mark this season. Jake Parchman leads the conference in the weight throw this season with a mark of 20.70, while Fabrienne Foster sits in second on the women's side. The AAC Indoor Championships will get underway at 9 a.m. CT Friday morning with the women's pentathlon. Field events will begin at noon, while track events are set to begin at 1:05 p.m. with the women's mile. Action on Saturday will resume at 9:15 a.m. and continue through the 4x400-meter relays that are set to conclude the meet at 3:15 p.m. CT.
