Tennis Set for Senior Day Match with Tarleton State

North Texas will honor its two seniors ahead of Saturday’s match with the Texans.
DENTON — The UNT women's tennis team will play its final home match of the season Saturday versus Tarleton State at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
Two seniors — Gianna Pielet and Olivia Malm — will be honored ahead of the contest.
In a broader sense, the Mean Green (8-9) will look to end undefeated at the Waranch Tennis Complex (March 19 home match versus Tulsa was relocated to TCU).
UNT comes into the match having won its last two matches, most notably versus at-the-time No. 68 Tulane March 23.
Pielet has been on a hot streak, starting with a line one win against a ranked opponent March 19 versus Tulsa before picking up the deciding point versus UAB March 21.
Marina Adati in returning to competition picked up the decisive point versus Tulane March 23. Adati is now 3-2 on the season in singles play.
The Texans (11-3) travel to Denton riding a seven match win streak and have not lost since Feb. 15. Notably, Tarleton State is 0-1 versus American Athletic Conference competition this season after losing 3-4 to UTSA in the team's last loss.
