Track & Field Prepped for Texas Relays

DENTON — The UNT track and field program is headed to Austin to take on some of the best athletes in the country at the famed Texas Relays, with the Mean Green beginning competition on Thursday and concluding the meet on Saturday.
UNT will take a total of 22 student-athletes, many of whom will compete in field events and distance events.

LAST TIME OUT
The Mean Green opened the outdoor season at the TCU Alumni Invite in Fort Worth and claimed four victories over the two-day meet, highlighted by Olu Williams, who won the men's discus with a personal-best throw of 58.68 meters, which was the fifth-best throw in the country this season. UNT also got wins from their men's 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay teams and from Mackenzie Kuehl in the women's javelin throw.
