DENTON — The UNT track and field program is headed to College Station to compete in Texas A&M's 44 Farms Invite at E.B. Cushing Stadium, with the Mean Green beginning competition on Friday with the meet concluding Saturday.
The Mean Green will take a mix of experienced competitors and some with less outdoor experience, while some of the team's top performers will take the weekend off after competing last weekend at the Texas Relays.
LAST TIME OUT
The Mean Green had a successful weekend in Austin at the famed Texas Relays, where they set four new program records (Trezeguet Taylor, 100; Hendrick Hundl, 110 hurdles; Ximena Lopez de Escalera, 10k) and saw Lopez de Escalera win the 10k with a handful of other second- and third-place finishes.
