Men’s Basketball Hire Eduardo Fernandez as Director of Operations

Fernandez Comes to UNT from Northern Illinois
DENTON – UNT men's basketball head coach Daniyal Robinson hired Eduardo Fernandez to his staff as its Director of Operations, the program announced on Friday.
Fernandez joins the Mean Green with NBA front office experience and most recently served as the Director of Basketball Operations at Northern Illinois under head coach Rashon Burno.
In his role with the Mean Green, Fernandez will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program and working hand-in-hand with the coaching staff. He coordinates team travel, academic success, budget management and the day-to-day schedule. Furthermore, serves as the liaison for the program to the athletic administration and campus.
Prior to his time at NIU, Fernandez was the Basketball Operations Associate for the Washington Wizards where he worked with the player development team, scouting department and logistics.
A 2022 graduate of UTEP, Fernandez served as a graduate assistant for his alma mater as well as an undergraduate student manager prior.
