DENTON (3/5/03) -- For the second consecutive season, North Texas senior guard Chris Davis (Dallas, Texas) has been named First Team All-Sun Belt Conference. The All-America candidate finished the regular season ranked second in the Sun Belt in scoring and seventh in rebounding, while leading the Mean Green in points, rebounds and assists.
Davis also finished the regular season ranked among the top-15 leaders in the conference in offensive rebounding (6th), defensive rebounding (9th), assists (10th) and free throw percentage (13th). He has piled up 474 points through 27 games for a 19.0 average per game, which is second to Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year James Moore's 19.2 points per game.
