Mean Green Golf Shoots Lowest Round in Two Years

Led by Andra Lancaster and Lauren Cheves, the Mean Green shot a 301, the program's lowest round since the Lady Eagle Invitational in September of 2002.
"A round like this is the perfect way to finish up the fall season," said head coach Cindi Padgett. "This was definitely the best round I have seen them play all year."
Within striking distance of the lead since the opening round,
Lauren Cheves played the best golf of career today, shooting the tournament's only round under par. Cheves shot a one under par 71 to go with 77-77 in the opening rounds, and finished in a tie for fourth place.
Jaclyn Golden finished the tournament with scores of 77-80-79 and ended in a tie for 16th place, and Tara Lambright tied for 19th with rounds of 80-79-81.
Paige Padgett also claimed a top 25 finish with rounds of 80-83-78. Padgett, who won the Lady Indian Classic in October, finished in 22nd place.
