March Madness is coming to Denton and the Super Pit!
The University of North Texas will be the host of the 2005 Aeropastle Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament March 4-8. All North Texas fans are needed to cheer on the Mean Green as the winner of the men's and women's tournaments will advance to the NCAA Tournament. The economic impact of the tournament is estimated to bring in over one-million dollars to the city of Denton and Denton County as 22 teams and over 300 student-athletes and their fans will converge on Denton for the five day tournament.
Tournament Ticket books are just $75 for all 20 men's and women's games. VIP parking passes and hospitality room passes are also available. Tickets can be ordered by calling (940) 565-2527 or 1-800-UNT-2366, or online at www.MeanGreenSports.com. Click on the Tickets/Parking icon to the left and then Ticket Prices and Info. A PDF form is also available at the same site location that can be printed out and either mailed or faxed back to North Texas.
