Mean Green Volleyball Finishes Regular Season With Five Straight Wins

LAFAYETTE, La. (11/13/05) The North Texas volleyball team (14-17, 8-5) picked up its fifth consecutive victory on Sunday, defeating Sun Belt Conference opponent Louisiana-Lafayette (5-20, 2-10) 32-30, 30-24, 25-30, 31-29 in its regular-season finale.
The Mean Green wrapped up the regular season with 14 victories, seven more than it had for all of last season, and an 8-5 Sun Belt Conference Record.

The Mean Green recorded 62 kills on a .157 attack percentage, while the Ragin’ Cajuns posted 68 kills on a .167 hitting percentage.
The Ragin’ Cajuns also had eight more digs than the Mean Green, but
Joining Hooser with double-figure kills were Brooke Engel (11), Katy Prokof (11) and Catherine Coffey (10). Prokof recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 16 digs as well, while sophomore setter Ashley Bass picked up her seventh double-double with 51 assists and 16 digs.
Jessica Hulsebosch recorded a team-high 25 digs, making her the first player in
North Texas will next compete in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, scheduled for November 17-19 in
