Volleyball Releases 2026 Schedule

The Mean Green face a 27-match slate featuring 12 home contests, meet Florida at The Super Pit
DENTON – Fresh off the first 20-win season since 2017, UNT volleyball and head coach Dave Fleming announced the program's 2026 schedule on Monday. The Mean Green will host 12 home matches, including a return to The Super Pit for the home opener against perennial powerhouse Florida on Sept. 6.
North Texas will open the campaign in a neutral-site matchup against CSU Bakersfield at the ACU Invitational on Aug. 28. After a weekend in Abilene, UNT will travel to Baylor on Sept. 3 for its 40th meeting in program history against the in-state foes.
The Mean Green are set to host the four-team UNT Invitational beginning on Sept. 17 at the UNT Volleyball Center. West Virginia meets East Texas A&M at 4 p.m. in the opening match of the tournament before North Texas faces Tarleton State at 7 p.m.
UNT opens American Conference play at home versus Florida Atlantic on Sept. 25 wrapping up the opening weekend of league play against Tulane on Sept. 27. The Mean Green meet 2025 American Conference tournament champions Tulsa on Oct. 18 at the UNT Volleyball Center before a road meeting on Nov. 1.
The regular season closes at UAB on Nov. 13 ahead of the 2026 American Conference Championship which will be hosted at Tudor Fieldhouse on the campus of Rice University beginning on Nov. 20.
For the 2026 season, fans can purchase the Fall Olympic Sports Ticket Bundle which are on sale now through the Mean Green Ticket Office and will include admission to all home UNT volleyball and women's soccer matches. The Fall Olympic Sports Ticket Bundle is available in two levels at $80 (general admission) and $125 (includes reserved seating at soccer). Single-match tickets will be available at a later date.
