Ajekwu Scores Career High In Victory

The Mean Green won its fourth straight game; its first four-game winning streak since the 2001-02 season.
Ajekwu came off the bench to score 23 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the field. She has scored in double figures the last three games. Amber Jackson joined her in double figures with 10 points and chipped in five rebounds.

The Mean Green extended its lead to as many as 19 points in the second half, aided by Ajekwu’s 18 points in the latter period.
Senior Erika Bobo dished out a season-high seven assists in the game and recorded five steals along with nine points. Talicia Sanders led the team on the boards with eight. She scored the team’s first six points and added two free throws to finish with eight points.
