Vanderlaan-Newland Real Estate tracked the cumulative rushing yardage for Mean Green running backs Patrick Cobbs and Jamario Thomas during the 2005 football campaign. As part of the "Real Estate Challenge", Vanderlann-Newland contributed $5 per yard gained by Cobbs and Thomas to the Mean Green Club's athletic scholarship fund.
