CHULA VISTA, Calif. (10/17/06) Tara Lambright and Lauren Cheves posted two-round scores of 155 to lead the North Texas women’s golf team in the final round of the TaylorMade Aztec Fall Classic.

In a field featuring 111 golfers, Cheves and Lambright finished tied for 35^th. Cheves posted a final round of 78 and Lambright shot a round of 81.

North Texas as a team shot a 318 and finished in 11^th place out of a field of 19 teams.

Freshman Maggie Noel shot a final round of 79 and had a two-round score of 159. Halli Richards and Janna Golden both rounded out the tournament with two-round scores of 161.

Denver captured the team title leading wire-to-wire.

This was the final tournament for North Texas of the fall and they will return to action next spring beginning with the Baja Invitational on Feb. 5-6.
