Mean Green Basketball Hosts Free Skills Clinic

DENTON (12/02/06) Johnny Jones and the Mean Green basketball team hosted a free skills clinic for over 250 participants at the Super Pit on Saturday.

Kids of all ages ran through drills with the Mean Green and received special instruction from North Texas coaches and players. Everyone who attended received a voucher redeemable for complimentary admission to a future North Texas basketball game.

The Mean Green, 5-2, is off to one of the best starts in school history with wins over NIT participant Charlotte, Rice and Tulsa. NT will return to action at the Super Pit on Dec. 22 against Jarvis Christian at 7 p.m..
