Basketball Teams Travel To Denver For Saturday Doubleheader

Denver, Colo. (2/17/06) - The North Texas men's and women's basketball teams begin their end-of-year road swing with a doubleheader against Denver on Saturday.
The North Texas men will play Denver on Saturday at 3 p.m. (CST) in the first of three consecutive road games against Sun Belt Conference West Division opponents to close out the regular season. Every North Texas game can be heard live on KWRD (100.7 FM) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
North Texas snapped a five-game losing streak with a dominating 84-45 win over UT-Pan American on Wednesday in its home finale. With the win, the Mean Green tied its most non-conference victories over the last 23 years and recorded the third most victories at the Super Pit in school history. North Texas is just one game out of second place in the SBC’s West Division and with one more victory can assure itself a .500 or better record for the third time in the last five seasons.
