Four In Double Figures Lead Volleyball Past Warhawks

MONROE, La. (10/14/07) The North Texas volleyball team picked up its fourth win in five matches with a 3-1 toppling of Louisiana at Monroe, 30-27, 27-30, 30-24, 30-21.
Katy Prokof led four Mean Green (9-14, 5-4) players in double figures kills with 15 against the Warhawks (0-22, 0-9). The senior added 10 digs and tied a career-high with four service aces to notch her third straight double-double.
Brooke Engel, Catherine Coffey and Amy Huddleston all added 12 kills apiece. Coffey became just the fourth player in school history to record 100 career solo blocks, tying Barb Green (100 from 1983-85) for third place in school history.
