MOBILE, Ala. (10/20/07) North Texas volleyball couldn’t overcome a potent South Alabama attack in a 3-0 loss on Sunday, 21-30, 22-30, 17-30.

The Jaguars (9-14, 3-9) posted a .419 attack percentage and 52 kills on North Texas (9-16, 5-6), which managed 35 kills on .114 hitting.

Katy Prokof led the Mean Green attack with nine kills and six digs. Heather Maddox posted 28 assists and Jessica Hulsebosch added 13 digs.

USA kept the Mean Green off balance all night, and seemed to get better as the night progressed. The Jaguars ended the night with a .606 hitting percentage and no attack errors in the third game.

The Mean Green will travel home Sunday to take on Denver on Monday at the Mean Green Volleyball Center at 7 p.m.
