Men's Basketball Falls At UT Arlington 72-64

The UTA (4-0) zone gave the Mean Green (3-1) fits all night, holding North Texas to 39.4 percent shooting from the floor, including 6-of-24 from beyond the arc.
The Mean Green has now lost four straight games to the Mavericks dating back to 1995-96.
The Mean Green held the Mavericks to only two field goals in the game’s first nine minutes, but the Mavericks countered with a rally from Anthony Vereern. The UTA big man scored eight straight points for the Mavericks to tie the game at 12 apiece.
Keith Wooden was effective in the paint for the Mean Green, posting his second career double-double. The senior racked up 17 points and 13 rebounds, both game highs.
White also continued to dazzle with 15 points, a trio of three-pointers and three assists.
North Texas will take the Thanksgiving holiday to regroup before heading to
