Volleyball Falls To New Orleans To End Home Slate

DENTON, Texas (11/04/07) The North Texas volleyball team closed out the 2007 home slate with a disappointing 3-1 loss to New Orleans, 28-30, 30-28, 23-30, 25-30.
The Mean Green (12-19, 8-9) couldn’t contain
The Mean Green attempted to counter with four players in double figures, but fell short. Katy Prokof led the way with 13 kills on senior day. Brooke Engel and Rachel Raley each notched 12 kills apiece, and Amy Huddleston added 11.
Engel’s devastating serves gave UNO trouble all afternoon. The senior had the Privateers off balance with five aces, to bring her season total to 103 on the year and .91 per game. Engel led the nation in 2006 with 123 aces and .98 per game.
Jessica Hulsebosch eclipsed the 25-dig plateau for the fourth time in the last five matches. The senior finished her last match at the
