THE FREE YOUTH BASKETBALL CLINIC HAS NOW CHANGED LOCATION TO THE PHYSICAL ED BUILDING (PEB)
North Texas Basketball to Host FREE Youth Clinic
North Texas Basketball and Head Coaches Johnny Jones and Tina Slinker will host a free youth clinic on Saturday, December 15th from 9am 11am at the Physical Education Building. All Youth Basketball participants and others 13 years and younger are encouraged to attend. Participants will have an opportunity to learn skills and practice techniques from Mean Green Coaches and players. Youth coaches and parents are also encouraged to attend. All participants will receive a voucher redeemable for complimentary admission to a future North Texas game, and the first 250 participants to register beginning at 8:30am on the morning of Dec 15th will receive a free T-shirt (quantities and sizes as available).

The Dec 15th youth clinic will be played at the Physical Education Building on the corner of Chestnut Dr. and Avenue D. From I-35E exit Bonnie Brae and head north. From Bonnie Brae make a right at Prairie St. From Prairie make a left onto North Texas Blvd and a right onto Chestnut Dr. Physical Ed Building is located on the right side of the road at the corner of Avenue D and Chestnut Dr. Please be advised that parking maybe difficult to find due to North Texas commencement ceremonies to be held Saturday, Dec 15th as well. DISD Day at North Texas
The University of North Texas invites all DISD kids and parents to attend DISD Day with North Texas on December 19 as the Women host Oklahoma State at 7pm and on December 20 as the Mean Green Men host Centenary at 7pm. All DISD youth have been given a voucher for FREE admission to either of these games; parents tickets are just $5 each! Both men’s and women’s basketball feature a fan friendly family oriented atmosphere at the Super Pit with Family Fun Zone play area featuring a bounce house and interactive games open during pregame, halftime, and between games during doubleheaders. Kids are also encouraged to stay for post game autographs opportunities with the Mean Green.
All North Texas Basketball games are played at the Super Pit on the campus of the University of North Texas. From I-35E exit North Texas Blvd and head east. The Super Pit is on the right hand side and free parking is on the left.
