DENTON, Texas (12/15/07) Over 300 kids of all ages came out to the free North Texas Basketball Youth Clinic on Saturday morning at the Physical Education Building.

Featuring head coaches Johnny Jones and Tina Slinker, the clinic gave the participants an opportunity to learn skills and practice techniques from Mean Green coaches and players.

The clinic was originally scheduled to be held at the Mean Green Village, but had to be moved to the PEB to accommodate the large numbers.

All participants received a voucher redeemable for complimentary admission to a future North Texas game, and the first 250 participants got a free t-shirt.

The Mean Green basketball teams return to action at the Super Pit next week. The North Texas men tip off against Southern on Monday night at 7 p.m., and the ladies face Oklahoma State on Wednesday at 7p.m.
