Mean Green, Longhorns Tangle Tonight In Austin

AUSTIN, Texas (12/04/07) North Texas has won 10 of its last 12 games dating back to last year, and finishes its opening road trip with a tilt at No. 4/5 Texas at 7:00 p.m. tonight at the Frank Erwin Center.
Tonight’s game is televised throughout the state on Fox Sports Net Southwest, but will not be available on FSN in either the DFW or Houston areas. Fans in those markets can view the game on the ESPN Full Court Package.

As far as the available North Texas records and authorities are concerned, the Mean Green’s 21-point comeback win at
North Texas received 29 votes, just missing a spot in the latest Mid-Major Top 25 poll.
Collin Dennis scored 19 second-half points in leading the Mean Green to the come from behind win at
Guard Ben Bell has been especially efficient this season for the Mean Green.
Quincy Williams is only two boards away from reaching the 500-rebound plateau. The senior currently has 498 career rebounds, and at his current pace of 7.5 rebounds per game, will move into ninth place in school history by the end of the season.
