Game Notes

- North Texas landed 14 three pointers against Hartford, which ties for the fifth most in school history. The Mean Green was only five shy of the school record of 19 which was set in 1996 (19 vs. Mary Hardin Baylor, 11/25/96).

- Hartford recorded 17 three pointers, which was only two shy of the Super Pit record for three pointers in a game (19 vs. Mary Hardin Baylor, 11/25/96). It was the most three-pointers allowed in a single game in the Johnny Jones era.

- Ben Bell notched a career-high 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor.

- Newcomers Tristan Thompson and Dez Willingham also recorded career highs. Thompson, a freshman, had 18 points, while the senior tallied 14.

- North Texas had five players in double figures for the first time this season. The Mean Green reached that feat nine times in 2006-07.

- The 105 points from the Mean Green marks the 75^th time overall and ninth in the Johnny Jones era that NT has reached the century mark.

- Quincy Williams swatted three shots against Hartford, giving him 71 career blocks. The performance moves the senior past Shawnson Johnson (2003-04) and into fourth place in school history. He needs only five more to jump past Thomas Gibson (76 from 1990-92).

- North Texas has out rebounded every opponent this year, including a 36-30 edge over the Hawks.

- Coach Johnny Jones and the Mean Green improve to 49-10 when scoring over 80 points in a game.
