North Texas Rebounds In Final Round Of SBC Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. (4/18/07) The North Texas women’s golf team rebounded in the final round of the 2007 Sun Belt Conference Championship to shoot a 313. The Mean Green finished in 8^th place overall with a three-round score of 942. Denver captured the team championship for the fifth straight year.

The four North Texas freshmen, Janna Golden, Kelsie Gray, Maggie Noel, and Jordan Rose had their ups and downs throughout the tournament but closed out strong.

Jordan Rose capped off her tournament with a 4-over par 76 and had a team best score of 230 for the event. She finished tied for 17^th in the tournament.

Senior Tara Lambright, playing in her final collegiate tournament, shot an 82 on the afternoon.

Gray had her best round of the tournament with a 79. Golden posted a third round score of 80 while Noel shot an 83.
