Pruitt Honored With SBC Postgraduate Scholarship

The Postgraduate Scholarship Award is given in recognition of superior academic achievement. The winners receive a check for $2,000 for use toward their future education.
Pruitt holds a 3.5 GPA and graduated in May of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Business Management. A four-year letterman at defensive tackle and member of three consecutive Sun Belt Conference football championship teams, Pruitt was named as the Outstanding Male Varsity Athlete of the Year at
A numerous Dean’s List and President’s List honoree, Pruitt is seeking a Ph.D in Physical Therapy and will enter the University of Montana in the fall of 2007 and will specialize in the training and rehabilitation of athletes. He has worked equally hard in the community by participating in various campus functions and numerous community service activities including the Food Bank Project, Habitat for Humanity, Katrina Relief Effort and Relay for Life.
