DENTON, Texas (820/07) - Meangreensports.com recently sat down with Roderick Johnson to find out more about the junior wide out. Johnson, a walk-on from Garland, is in the mix to see time on the field during the 2007 season. This is the first of five "New Faces in the Crowd" to be featured this week. Meangreensports.com: What is the one thing that has you excited about the upcoming season?
Roderick Johnson: The fact that the team feels more family-like and I know it will bring success.
MGN: Who is your favorite sports team?
RJ:

RJ: Mysteries of the Bible
MGN: What is your favorite movie?
RJ: Bad Boys II
MGN: What is your favorite musician/musical group?
RJ: Cameo
MGN: If you could be any superhero, who would you be? Why?
RJ: Batman because he’s a man just like me. He has no superpowers. He just relies on his wits.
MGN: When you’re not at practice or in meetings, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
RJ: I like to just hang out. I’ll study some of my routes and get the occasional nap in every now and then.
MGN: What is your favorite pre-game meal?
RJ: Spaghetti
MGN: Who is your greatest role model?
RJ: My father
MGN: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
RJ: I would like to be a special agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
