Jessica Hulsebosch was named the Sun Belt Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week for her accolades at the Tulsa Invitational. In a trio of three-game matches, the senior racked up three 20-dig performances - tops by an NT player this year anchoring the Mean Green defense.
Brooke Engel currently ranks ninth in the country with .86 service aces per game. The senior led the nation in 2006 with a school-record .98 average, and is at the top of her game at the moment.
Erica Wendell has been filling up the stat sheets with her stellar blocking performances. The senior now holds the team lead with 49 on the year - 21 more than she had all of last year. Wendell needs only 20 more blocks to move into 10th all-time in career blocks in program history.
