Middle Tennessee Drops North Texas Volleyball

The Blue Raiders (17-1, 4-0) came into the game ranked just outside the national top-25 polls and handed the Mean Green (5-13, 1-3) one of its most lopsided defeats of the season. MTSU nearly doubled
Jessica Hulsebosch led the Mean Green with 13 digs and a pair of service aces on the afternoon, and Heather Maddox posted 16 assists. Brooke Engel and Katy Prokof tied with a team-high six kills against the Blue Raiders.
The Middle Tennessee middle controlled the match with 14 blocks in the three-game match. Perennial All-Sun Belt player Ashley Adams notched 13 kills and eight blocks and Sasha McGlothin added seven blocks.
The Mean Green returns to action on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. versus Florida International.
