DENTON, Texas (1/15/08) Catch North Texas men's basketball coach Johnny Jones tonight on Southwest Kia Sports Talk on KFWD TV-52 at 6:30 p.m.

Jones has the Mean Green off to a 9-0 start at home for the first time since 1977-78, and will look to defend its turf against New Orleans on Thursday night.

North Texas guard Collin Dennis was named the Sun Belt Player of the Week for his 30-point outing at Arkansas State. The junior averaged 19.3 points per game in a trio of Mean Green wins last week.

New Orleans features a potent offense led by the reigning Sun Belt Player of the Year Bo McCalebb. The senior is averaging 22 points per game this year, which ranks 12^th in the country.
