What is your favorite memory about playing basketball?
“Winning the state championship back in high school. We won it back to back and that made it even better. Many words can describe how I felt. It was a great feeling.”

That’s a fine list of schools. How did you end up playing for the Mean Green?
“Honestly I didn’t think I was going to come here. I thought I was going to USC but they signed two other point guards. Because of my height they didn’t end up offering. But I came here, I like the coaching staff. And I like that they went to the tournament last year.”
Yeah a lot of people seem to worry about your size. At 5’10’, can you dunk?
“Haha, no I can't.”

In just 14 games, you’ve earned Sun Belt Conference player of the week twice and are a rising star on the team. How do you respond to the notoriety and attention thus far?
“It’s been a blessing. I try to do what I can to help my team, but all that individual stuff doesn’t matter to me. I try to do what I can to help my team win. That is what’s most important to me.”
