North Texas Opens Three-Game Homestand With Jaguars

North Texas has dominated the series with
Sophomore Brittney James is putting up big numbers on both sides of the ball this season, but more recently her 3-point shooting has come into focus. James leads the Mean Green with 23 3-pointers this season and she is on pace to climb into the top 10 in a single season for 3-pointers at
She needs nine more 3-pointers to reach the top 10. James also leads the Mean Green with 40 steals on the season and she is on pace to likely break into the top 10 in single season in that category. With at least 11 games remaining, James needs to average 2.6 steals per game to crack the top 10 for a single season in steals at
Amber Jackson’s season continues its torrid and record breaking pace. While she is on track for one of the best shooting seasons in school history, add scoring and field goals to that list as well. Jackson currently has 281 points and at her current pace she score 435 points this season, which would put her just two points shy of 10th all-time in a single season at North Texas.
