The North Texas Lettermen’s Association would like to thank everyone involved in another successful Zeke Martin & Friends Memorial Golf Tournament and Cookout.
At Friday’s cookout, we presented a plaque honoring Johnny Jones and the 2007 NCAA Tournament Qualifier men’s basketball team. In addition, we extended four “Lifetime Memberships” for service to
Finally, we thank James Rainbolt for the wonderful bar-b-que at Friday’s cookout.
We had over 80 golfers participate in this year’s Zeke Martin & Friends Memorial Tournament. The golf tournament was won by Gary Martin, Kris Martin, Blake Martin and Rob Mann. The 3rd annual bankers cup was won by David Gonzales, Cody Tucker, Freddy Espercueta and Matt Levrett of Wells
Finally, we thank Mark Naylor, the athletic department liaison, for helping the tournament run smoothly. We also would like to thank our volunteers the Eagle Angels, Mark Miller, Jim Eagle and James Brewer and Robson Ranch. Also, a big thank you goes to the football coaches and track coach, Rick Watkins, for playing in Saturday’s event.
We hope to grow this tournament every year and look forward to having ALL of our North Texas Letterwinners, your friends and co-workers playing each year.
