The match certainly came to Lepmets who tallied 37 assists, the most by a North Texas player in a three-set match this year. Amy Huddleston was her main target, posting a match-best 13 kills on .647 hitting.
Breanne Owens and Sarah Willey’s streak of six straight matches with double-digit digs came to an end. Owens was able to reach 10 digs, but Willey fell just short at seven.
