About Dig for the Cure

Dig for the Cure began as a daughters quest to help breast cancer survivors like her mother and others through way of her volleyball program’s community service project and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In the Fall of 2003, Lisa Marston started Dig for the Cure with her volleyball program at Charlotte to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.
In the years that past, Lisa involved got her conference involved in the program and the word spread fast. Dig for the Cure has grown from a small one program event to about 200 programs across the country in all collegiate divisions and high schools. Lisa Marston is a pioneer in the fund raising efforts for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
North Texas Volleyball is very proud to be a part of Dig for the Cure and hopes to raise a generous amount of funds to donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation on Sunday, October 26th @ 1pm in the Mean Green Village Volleyball Gym.
