Privateer Streaks Stifle Mean Green Volleyball

The Mean Green (3-13, 1-3 Sun Belt West) kept up with
Amy Huddleston and Salah Schoenecke each had five kills.
Kati Dillard’s six match streak of multiple blocks came to an end at the hands of the Privateers. The freshman had at least two blocks in every match dating back to Sept. 16, but came away with just one solo block versus UNO.
Kayla Saey was affective at setter after getting the starting nod from head coach Cassie Headrick. The true freshman dished out a match-high 27 assists.
Eight different Mean Green players posted digs against the Privateers, including four that had five or more. Sarah Willey led the way with seven digs, while Jessica Green and Saey had six and Casvean tallied five.
