“I would like to commend Arkansas State on their effort tonight. They came in here and played very well tonight. They executed their offense very well and getting Wedel (Ryan) and Banks (Adrian) open looks. I thought Arkansas State played very well defensively also. Whenever we play each other you can throw the records out the window, it is always going to be a hard-fought contest. They beat us here last year on senior night and then we beat them in the Sun Belt Tournament and followed that with a win in Jonesboro earlier this year, but each of those games were tough for both teams.”

I thought we played hard and I thought we played very well in spots. Our guys wanted this one to send our seniors out the right way. With this win we still have a chance to win our division.”

“He did an excellent job on Adrian Banks in the first half and limited to him to only one bucket while he was guarding him. In the second half we called his number on the offensive end and he answered the bell for us hitting big shot after big shot. He connected on 6 of 7 from behind the arc tonight.”

“Josh played like a seasoned veteran tonight. He had as pure an offensive night as he has had at any time this year. He made of 5 of 7 from the field including a perfect 2 of 2 from behind the arc and he was also 11 of 14 from the free throw line. I thought Ben did an excellent job of finding guys tonight as was evidenced by his seven assists. He ran the break well and got us into our half courts sets.”
