Bill Bell Wins 2009 Mean Green Island Getaway Raffle

DENTON, Texas (10/21/09) - Bill Bell of Denton won the sixth annual Mean Green Club Raffle and a trip for two to Kona, Hawaii. The Mean Green Island Getaway Raffle raised over $12,000 for the Mean Green Club Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.
The winning raffle was picked at last Saturday's Homecoming Game against Florida Atlantic. Bell will receive two airline tickets and a week-long stay in Kona, Hawaii.
All of the proceeds go to benefit the Mean Green Club for student-athlete scholarships. The University of North Texas has nearly 350 student-athletes with scholarship costs of $2.1 million.
