GAME NOTES
- Senior forward Eric Tramiel rebounded from his first scoreless game of the season on Sunday to lead four Mean Green players in double-figure scoring in the 71-61 win over Southeastern Louisiana. Tramiel dropped in a game-high 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor and a 7-for-9 effort at the free throw line.
- Tramiel's 19 points marked a new season high for him, exceeding his previous best of 17 points against Texas A&M on 12-7-09. He was just three points shy of his career high of 22 points.
- Junior guard Josh White added 13 points on 3-of-5 shooting and a perfect 6-of-6 performance from the free throw line. With the 13 points, White now has 941 career points and surpasses Bobby Iverson (931) to rank No. 22 in North Texas career scoring.
- White also connected on 1 of 2 attempts from three-point range, giving him 109 three-pointers for his career. He needs four more to move into eighth place all-time in career three-point FGs at North Texas.
- George Odufuwa and Tristan Thompson also finished in double digits for the Mean Green with 12 points each. For Odufuwa, it marked his fourth straight game in double figures while for Thompson, it was his third consecutive double-figure game and fourth of the season.
- With the win, North Texas improved to 3-2 in its series against Southeastern Louisiana, standing 3-1 against the Lions in games played at the Super Pit.
- North Texas now stands 227-168 against current teams from the Southland Conference. The Mean Green are now 9-4 vs. Southland teams under head coach Johnny Jones.
- For the second straight game, the Mean Green struggled on the boards. UNT was out-rebounded 42-31 by Southeastern Louisiana and got beat on the boards by a 51-38 margin by Florida International on Sunday.
- The Mean Green improved to 5-1 at the Super Pit this season.
