Mean Green Teams Up With Denton Twilight Tunes

DENTON, Texas (6/25/09) Join the North Texas Athletic Department and the Denton Main Street Association for the final “Twilight Tunes” at the Downtown Denton Square. The North Texas bounce house will be at the event along with information about the Junior Mean Green Club and the upcoming North Texas football season and ticket information. The concert runs from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. North Texas cheerleaders will be distributing this year's football poster during the concert. Tonight's band is Uver, a Rock, roots, swamp blues band. The 2009 series features an assortment of music for all listeners. Bring your friends or the family, get a meal-to-go from one of the many downtown eateries, bring a blanket or chairs, and enjoy an evening of great live music as the sun sets over downtown Denton. Thursday Twilight Tunes is held on the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square lawn, 110 W. Hickory, near the corner of Oak and Elm Streets. Admission is FREE.
