Football Fall Practice #4

North Texas Football returned to Fouts Field on Tuesday evening for their second practice of the week. The team practiced around two and a half hours per the norm, and they are anxiously awaiting tomorrow afternoons practice.
- Attire: The team came out in shells for the second straight night on Tuesday. Full pads will make their first appearance in North Texas' camp on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 at the North Texas Athletics Center.
- Junior transfer Michael Outlaw had a really good showing at tonight's practice, blazing by multiple corners for big plays.
- Redshirt Freshman Jeremy Phillips, who converted from safety in the spring, had another big night, breaking up 3 passes and nearly picking one.
- Placekicker Jeremy Knott nailed most of his field goals on the evening, including a 51-yard try.
- Defensive tackle Jesse DeSoto, one of the returning linemen on the defensive side, has held off the talented newcomers with a great fall camp thus far
