The North Texas Football came out at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning for their only practice of the day. Tomorrow, Wednesday, will feature another two-a-day format for practice number 13 and 14.
- Attire: Full pads were again used today, as they have become a normal routine since their debut last Wednesday. The guys will have full pads on again Wednesday morning and shells on for the afternoon practice.
- Play of the Day: While running 11-on-11 goal line drills, running back Cam Montgomery was met at the line by numerous defenders causing him to fumble the ball. Junior safety Ira Smith scooped up the ball and took it the other way 99 yards for the score.
- Offensive Play of the Day: Riley Dodge hooks up with receiver Alex Lott on a bubble screen, who shakes three tacklers and takes it 70-yards to the house.
- Quarterback Riley Dodge continues to show his moves when avoiding the rush. Dodge stepped up out of the collapsing pocket and hit lance Dunbar with a lateral. Dunbar would take it from there, darting up the sideline for a huge gain.
- On special teams, senior kicker Jeremy Knott had a very good day, connecting on all but one of his field goal and PAT tries, including one from 48 yards out.
